Variety they say, 'is the spice of life'.

Life is full of a wild variety of colours, designs, species, races, names, tribes, cultures, and even thumb prints and snowflakes, for Pete's sakes!

Isn't it interesting how life often throws us curve balls? As my hubby (clergyman) would often say ;

It's a real rat race, isn't it?

Take social media for instance,

The gorgeous gifts that have never stopped giving.

Where did the marriage story begin? Marriage was always in the heart of God. First, He created Adam. He breathed His life into him and he became a living soul.

This is how we fall into gloom.

We shed tears that have deep stories

and own pain with great history.

Life does throw people curve balls.

The thing is, usually, we feel for orphans and widows, don't we?

Every building needs a foundation to ensure that a house stays in place and does not collapse.

Have you ever watched an animated movie? Then you're familiar with this type of scene.

I don't exactly have the words to say, but of late, I have been contemplating the matter that's termed love—the complexity and intensity of it all. The truth and reality of it?

Love has been often described by the tingling sensations one feels.

“I’m not cut out for this, it’s impossible”. “Why should I even bother? It’s me, so I'm definitely not gonna get it”.

I have not truly known it.

But I am knowing it.

To be a balm

to the wounded

Imagine each human had a book explaining their lives.

This woman of mine

is not hands tied and knees down.

She is not limbs down and head bowed

Joined by blood

Brought together by God

Not through the same birth canal

It is the season to set goals.....that we may or may not abandon before the end of February.

The twists and turns of a road can be compared to the journey of healing.

Just like any journey we embark upon, it's filled with both straight and crooked paths, highs and lows, and unexpected bumps along the way.

Trauma is a deeply distressing or disturbing experience. It could be the loss of a loved one through death or divorce; it could be from emotional or physical abuse, betrayal, hurt, or pain from an experience.
