I Didn't Start Life Like This: A Mom Abandoned With Twins — Holding On To Faith For Her Autistic

I was happily married. I had a home, a husband, and a future I was proud of. My twins — a boy and a girl, now 8 years old — were born into love.

The Life I Knew

We were living together as a family in Dubai, and for a moment, life felt complete. We were a happy home. My twins were born into love, into laughter, into a future I was proud of.

The Storm

Then the storm came. Within the twinkle of an eye, everything changed.

In 2022, my husband abandoned us. He left and never returned.

Shortly after, I lost my job in Dubai. The life I had built crumbled.

For the past two years, I have been living by the means of other people — no stable job, no permanent home, just trying to survive day by day.

The Silent Struggle No One Sees

The pain is deeper because my son is autistic.

He is a sweet, brilliant boy who experiences the world differently. He needs special therapy, consistency, and care to thrive. And I have been unable to give him what he truly needs.

Every day has become a fight for the basics:

School fees for my twins

Feeding

Accommodation

Transportation

And most importantly, my son's therapy

My daughter deserves to stay in school and keep dreaming. My son deserves his therapy and a chance at life.

When God Sent Help

Just when I thought there was no one left to turn to, with the help of God, I got to know about the Grace Abound Foundation Community. They came through for me.

For the first time in a long time, I felt safe. They were there for me — financially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They held my hand when I had no strength left. They reminded me that I am not alone.

They held my hand when I had no strength left.

Not For Pity, But For Hope

I share my story today not for pity, but for hope. I know God can still rewrite our story through kind hearts like yours.

We just need a little help to stand again.

Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for being part of our journey.
